Beginning students will focus on safety, materials, tools, and techniques as they explore the tools and machinery through various projects that build toward tool use independence. Students will be regularly tested in the areas of safety, theory/methodology of wood identification uses, construction techniques and processes and finishes. We will begin by studying SAFETY and logically integrate projects that teach techniques and tool uses in tandem.
